Lancelin Sand Dunes
Lancelin is a town about 1.5hrs North of Perth here in Western Australia. It has some amazing sand dunes and as a landscape photographer I often spend hours just wondering through these sand dunes taking landscape photographs. You have to be careful of all the four wheel drives, motorbikes and quad bikes hammering through the dunes though. Who says that photography isn’t dangerous work? The best time to photograph Lancelin is when a huge storm comes through, it provides for some really dark and contrasty photographs.
