Please enjoy my collection of unique Australian landscape photography and seascape photography.   Each one of my photos is achieved from hours of patiently waiting for the exact moment to press the shutter and endless hours walking up and down the beach looking for the perfect scene.

Cottesloe Beach Storm

Cottesloe Beach is one of Perth’s favourite beaches and for good reason. Its quite often very protected from the big swells that can hit the coast. The water is crystal clear and there is so much to do around the Town of Cottesloe. If you’re visiting Perth and want to spend some time at a great beach, head on down to Cottesloe. Its got hotels, two great pubs and fish and chips shops so that you can watch the sunset whilst having a nice meal.

Cottesloe is famous for its breakwater which is great fun to stand on during winter storms, but its even more famous for the pylon which dominates the beach. Its a fantastic subject for Australian landscape photography, and has been captured in many different moods and seasons. Traditionally the pylon would start to collapse after huge winter storms and everyone would head down there to see what had happened but recently the local council spent a huge sum of money on it to make sure it didn’t happen again in the near future.
