Hi Everyone,

Last night I was down at Cottesloe Beach and I was provided with the most amazing Cottesloe Beach sunset of 2011.  I can’t believe how lucky I got!  It was just so intense.  It started off as a fairly subtle sunset and I was standing on the Cottesloe Groyne thinking that I wasn’t really going to come back with any magic.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.  The sun dipped below the horizon and then it started to light up different parts of the sky at different times.  One minute I was shooting towards the Indiana Teahouse and then I was shooting towards Fremantle as the light was just bouncing all around the place.  I must’ve run up and down the groyne at least four times chasing the light.

I think I actually yelled out for joy at one stage, that is how exciting it was.   If you’d like to see more images like please checkout my Australian landscape photography gallery.

Thanks,

Jamie
