Hi Everyone,

I’ve always loved taking seascape photos but this time really was a magical moment for me. One that I’m glad I get to share with you guys. It had been a tough week and I just had a funny feeling that this particular evening would be a fantastic one. After walking up and down the beach I decided that this spot was the best spot to try and grab a photo. It was such an amazing moment, one minute I was standing in the sand, and the next moment I was knee deep in the freezing cold water just totally absorbed by the sunset and the water just flowing off the ledge. I really felt at one with Mother Nature.

When was the last time you felt really connected to Mother Nature? A moment that you felt all your cares slip away?

Thanks,

Jamie Paterson

I’m inclined to agree with you about this one being a magical moment.

The glossy, almost glass-like look of the ocean (along with it’s hue) provides a nice contrast to the green moss on the rock in the forefront of the shot.

I’d love to ask where you took this one, but any shots I’d be able to grab would pale in comparison to yours. :-)

Hi Rene,

It was taken at a place called Point Perron here in Western Australia. I’m glad you like the photo, it was an awesome evening to be hanging around the beach.
