Hi Everyone,

Well I’ve been really busy lately getting ready for my first ever exhibition its an exciting challenge!

This photo was taken from one of the beaches around the Mandurah area. There are lots of reefs along the coastline there so its heaven for me. Next winter I’m going to spend a lot more time down there taking photos as I’m sure there is more gold down there.

When I look at this photo it reminds me of just how nice it was that night. Even though it was winter the breeze was a nice warm and gentle breeze and it was so nice seeing people walking up and down the beach together just chatting away and enjoying each others company. Does life get any better than that?

I don’t think so.

Thanks,

Jamie Paterson

Hi Everyone,

This is one of those shots that I just couldn’t wait to get home and see on my computer. It just blew me away, I love the light beams coming out from the lighthouse. What do you guys think of it?

This was taken at 11pm at night using ISO100, F22, and a 3min exposure.

This lighthouse faces two oceans and marks the meeting of the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean. On this particular night we were extremely fortunate to be invited to stay in the spare lighthouse keeper’s cottage, which he kindly informed us in the morning was haunted! I have to admit I’m glad he didn’t tell us about it beforehand or I would never have slept.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks,

Jamie Paterson
