Boranup Forest
Hi Everyone,
Recently I was invited to follow and photography two guys run for 130kms in 19hrs for a charity event. I was honoured to be asked and we all had a great time. It was an incredible feat for these two guys, I certainly couldn’t do it.
One of the stops along the way was Boranup Forest, an amazing forest that rarely has the right light to capture it.
On this particular day we did get the right light and I got some great photos of the forest. Its such a peaceful place, and I definitely want to spend a few hours here next time, just walking through it and feeling its energy.
We are so lucky to have places like this for us to enjoy. Do you have a favourite spot that you like to hang out at?
Thanks

Twilight Cove
Hi Everyone,
I hope you enjoy this seascape photograph of Twilight Cove in Esperance. On this particular evening the sun set behind me and as it did it just lit up these orange rocks and it was an amazing sight to behold, one of those truly rare events. As for the water, it is that colour, there has been no increase in colour via photoshop at all. Esperance is known for its amazingly blue water.
I can’t wait to head back there in the future and try and capture more Esperance magic. The best thing about Esperance is that its just so untouched, the water is so crystal clear, though cold, and there is so much wildlife all over the place. If you happen to head over to Lucky Bay you can see Kangaroos just lying on the beach!
If you ever get the chance to head down that way, make sure you do.
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson
Cottesloe Beach
Hi Everyone,
I managed to capture this photograph of Cottesloe Beach about 12mths ago but I’ve only just got around to editing it. It was 43 degrees when I took this photo of Cottesloe so it was packed. I had to park about 10mins away from the beach and walk to it as there were so many people down there.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to jump in as I had all my gear with me, though its all I wanted to do because it was just so hot.
Thanks,
Jamie Paterson

Port Beach Sunset
You know how sometimes you get the feeling that you need to be at a certain place at a certain time? This was one of those times. I was on my way home when I saw the clouds creating some really unusual shapes and colours.
I rushed home and grabbed my camera and headed down to the beach to start snapping away. I’m so glad that I did, the resulting sunset was simply stunning and amazing. One of the best that I’ve seen in years.
People were laughing at me because I was just jumping up and down with excitement. I just couldn’t help it though it was so exciting!
I hope you enjoy viewing this as much as I do.
Thank You,
Jamie Paterson
